Community Access
Ability Lifestyles supports people to connect with and participate in their community in ways that are meaningful to them. Supports are guided by each person’s NDIS plan, including their goals, interests, and available funding.
We take the time to understand what matters most to each individual and work alongside them to create a personalised approach. Our team provides the right support to help turn their plan into real experiences, building confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging.
Activities are based on each person’s preferences and may include:
-
Participating in recreational activities such as mini golf, bike riding, and bushwalking
-
Visiting national parks, beaches, and other local attractions
-
Enjoying BBQ lunches and social outings with friends
-
Accessing programs such as swimming, fitness classes, and other recreational activities
-
Exploring new places and experiences within the community
We also support people to build practical life skills as part of their community participation. This may include developing confidence with money management, road safety, and other everyday skills that support greater independence.
